Every GATORZ MILSPEC frame and lens combination meets the Military Specification MIL-PRF-32432A, Clause 3.8.4.1, for fragment impact protection. Each pair is engineered to withstand up to seven times more impact energy than the ANSI Z87.1+ impact standard requires. This resistance is verified with the MIL-SPEC test protocol, which uses a 0.15 caliber, 5.85 grain fragment simulating projectile (T37) travelling at 700–725 feet per second, striking the lens at a critical point.

Our advanced TruRay® OPz (Optimized Polarized) lens technology is designed to reduce glare and enhance visual clarity without blocking digital screens.
